Shopping Haul!
Hey everyone! I went shopping at College Mall in Bloomington for the first time ever! I went in several stores but I only bought things from two stores.
I went to a store I have never been into before called Earthbound Trading Co. And I will say it is amazing! And they are not overpriced! The Bath Salts were only $1.95. The Essential Oil was only $5.95. And the necklace was only $5.95 too! I am in love with this store and will have to go back again!
Next I bought two things from Hot Topic. They had a sale of everything was buy one get one 50% off. I bought some new cat earrings and an Allison Reynolds POP! figure!
These next two things I did not buy. My boyfriend actually gave them to me yesterday because he had bought them while he was in Florida for a week. They are adorable and I love them!

Book Review: P.S. I Stil Love You
P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
Rate out of 10: 7.5
Since I was in love with the first book, I decided to read the second one. I was not happy with the fact that Jenny Han left Josh out of the book a lot. He isn’t in it as much as the first one. Which makes me sad because I liked him the most. But I soon got over that when John was introduced. I would by far choose John over Peter and Josh. I just don’t like Peter. I do like that he is nice to Kitty. Kitty adores Peter, which makes it harder for Lara Jean to choose. I am still Team John. I will never be Team Peter, which if you read the book, you will know what I am talking about. I gave the book a 7.5 out of 10 because there were moments that I actually screamed at the book. Things would happen that I wouldn’t want to happen or wasn’t expecting. But beside that fact, I fell in love with the book instantly. It had me on the edge of my seat and it left me wanting more. Sadly, I know there will probably not be another book in the series, but I wish there would be. Han did a very great job with writing these books and she should definitely continue writing young adult books. I also recommend that you do not read this book first, you need to go in order! Trust me, it’ll be worth it!

Post of the Day
School is coming to an end, and I have come to realize that life is a very quick thing when you are not paying attention. At the beginning of August of 2015, I will be a Junior in High School. I feel like it was just the other day I was in Elementary School. I do not remember much from when I was little, but there are still memories that I cherish. I have lost a lot of friends but have gained them as well. I have loved and been loved. My heart has been broken and put back together. Thousands of tears have been shed. I have cried on shoulders and my shoulder has been cried on. I am only 16 years old. I will be 17 in July. One more year and I will be 18. Where has time gone? I have learned in these past couple of months, you need to try and live life to the fullest, within reason. Try to say yes, instead of no. But you still need to think of the consequences. If you know it will lead to death or something else bad, then do not do it. Anyways, I just needed to say something. I wasn’t sure exactly how to say it really. I apologize if it sounds like a buffoon wrote it.

Book Review: To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
Rate out of 10 : 9
I do not normally read romance books. But this book was very recommended by other bibliophiles. I applaud those people because they made a great recommendation. I fell in love with the characters instantly. Especially Josh. I can imagine him in my mind! He makes my heart melt! Yes you are allowed to love fictional characters. Now, I was not a big fan of Peter. He seems like a major jerk. I have come to believe he thinks he is better than everyone else. But there are times in the book where I fall in love with him and I ship them together. But then he does something stupid and I hate him again. This book just goes to show why boys are so confusing. Lara Jean is like most girls today her age. I know I am like her. She doesn’t hang out with many friends. She prefers to spend time with her family. But I have come to realize that authors tend to do that, make the main characters relatable to the readers. But hey I am alright with that. Just makes me realize that someone out there knows what my life is like. Even if you are not into romance books, this is a must read for everyone!

Why Books Are Amazing
Books are beyond amazing. They are one of the very few things that are perfect in my life. And I mean physical copies of books, not digital ones. I prefer ones I can hold in my hands. I can hear the turn of the page. I even smell the books. Books from libraries smell weird. Old books smell like my grandma's house. And brand new books smell like perfection. I also love it when I finish reading a book. I have this sense of accomplishment. "I did this. I finished this." Every time I finish reading one, I have to sit and relax. I need time to take in what had just happened. Let all of the information settle in. Books are just amazing and I love them with all I can.
We Are Humans
We go through life oblivious to the world around us. We run through it never taking a break. To pause and notice what is right in front of us. I tell myself it is because we are humans. That is only an excuse. We make excuses for a lot of things. It is all a disappointment.
I may be only sixteen years old, but age does not matter. I have gone through a lot. I do not wish to be pitied. I wish only to be heard. The way people live their lives shock me. The judgement they face and the judgement they give. What goes around comes around. They think it is alright to go through life judging others and thinking they are not at fault. They have another thing coming. Everybody has flaws. Everybody does something wrong.
When I was growing up as a little girl, my parents use to tell me I was the most beautiful little girl around. As I grew older, I soon realized this was a lie. I do not meet today’s “standards” of beauty. I am not a toothpick. I do not have long hair. I am not girly nor do I wear dresses. I am the complete opposite. I am overweight. I love my hair being short and I use to even dye it all kinds of different colors. But I had to many people tell me it made me look ugly. So I stopped dying my hair. I wear jeans and t-shirts all the time. I hate putting make up on and I hate doing my hair. I brush it and go on about my day. I am the opposite of beauty and I am alright with that.
People today need to realize that they will never get anywhere in life by judging others. They need to be judging themselves.
